Booster Bingo | Custom Bingo Card Web App for Sports Booster Clubs
Sports Booster Clubs & Fan Engagement·Web Apps
Overview

Booster Bingo is a web app I designed and built for athletic booster clubs and sports supporter groups that host game-day watch parties. A club sets up its logo, colors and fonts once, enters or imports its plays, and prints as many unique bingo cards as it needs, plus a call sheet so the host can follow along.
Generic bingo generators often make a club re-enter dozens of squares for every game. Booster Bingo saves each game, so next week's opponent takes seconds: duplicate a game, change the title and opponent, and every play updates. Plays can be typed in, pasted, or uploaded from a Word or text file, and downloaded again at any time.
Under the hood it is a Next.js, React and TypeScript application with Prisma on Neon Postgres, Auth.js sign-in (email and Google), and print-ready PDFs generated right in the browser. Many clubs live in one app with owner and editor roles, email invitations and plan tiers, and a one-click demo gives every visitor a private sandbox copy of a sample club that deletes itself after 24 hours, with a SAMPLE watermark on printed cards.
The idea came from a simple gap. Booster clubs host watch parties all season, and bingo is an easy way to keep a room engaged, but generic bingo tools do not know a club's colors, logo or fonts and make the host rebuild every card for every game. Booster Bingo treats the club as the unit: brand it once, and every game and card inherits the look.
A game is a title, an opponent and a list of plays. The Board Creator takes plays one at a time, in a bulk paste, or from an uploaded Word or text file, tags each as Home, Opponent or Neither so the card text reads naturally, and previews a card before anything is printed. A club can generate up to 50 unique cards in a batch, each a randomized board with a Free Space in the middle, and print a call sheet that lists every play for the host.
The application supports many clubs at once. Each club has its own branding, games and users, with owner and editor roles, email invitations, and plan tiers managed by an administrator. Cards and call sheets are rendered as PDFs in the browser, so printing is fast and nothing needs a separate document service.
To let clubs try it without a phone call or a sales call, the site offers a one-click demo. Each visitor gets a private sandbox copy of a sample club with limits suited to a trial, printed pages marked SAMPLE, and automatic deletion after 24 hours, so the demo stays safe, isolated and tidy.
